“I Sort of Know Where I’m Going, But I’m Not Always Sure”
Laura Armstrong says she just about lives in her car. She’s always driving here and there for business or taking her kids someplace for a game or to visit school friends. “I’m usually pretty good with directions — but Turn-by-Turn1 is such a saving grace for me when I need a little help,” she says. “It’s really a neat interactive tool to have.”
Turn-By-Turn makes Laura feel like she has an entourage of people working for her. “If I’m in a city I’m not too familiar with — like Santa Monica — and I know there’s a really cool mall there, I’ll just push the button and ask ‘Where’s Third Street Promenade?’ And they’ll get me there. I never worry about maps or anything like that. Turn-by-Turn is perfect when I kind of/sort of know where I’m going.”
Laura says she can go practically anywhere and not worry because she knows she’s just a button push away from having any questions she might have on the road answered. “Having Turn-by-Turn takes so much pressure and worry off me. I can just have the addresses of where I’m going, get in the car and have OnStar take me from location to location.”
OnStar Advisor Lorenso Davis says people call him all the time needing a little help getting around. “The majority of calls I get, the people are usually close to their destination but can’t pinpoint it.” His advice: Press the blue button. “Let us help — that’s what we’re here for.”
