"OnStar saved my Life" – Jeanne Hurteau
“I had been having trouble with a pacemeker that was recently put in. One of the leads from the pacemaker came out of my heart and attached to my diaphram. (Very Painful) I felt like I had done 10,000 situps in an hour. We are not wealthy people so I tried to wait to go to hospital because I did not want to pay $75.00 fee for emergency room, So I tried to wait. That was a huge mistake. The pain was so severe my husband decided to take me to the hospital.
My hospital is about 1 hour away. We tried to make it. In the truck I had a seizure. That is when my husband hit the OnStar emergency button. In seconds one of your people were on the line and connected him to our local 911. We were instructed to pull over so you could locate our vehicle. Good thing he hit OnStar. Because the emergency team that responded said they almost had to give me CPR because my heart started to really beat hard and fast and my blood pressure dropped. Thank you! OnStar saved my life because in the farm county were we live it is hard to get any kind of cell service. You were there. Thank you so much.”
