I save almost $200 per 6 month period by insuring my car with GMAC because they were the only ones who gave a discount for having OnStar on my 2006 Saturn Ion.

My State Farm rep told me the savings wasn’t worth it. I will have to call GMAC and see what they can do

My full coverage insurence from American family was over $100 a month when I switched to State Farm the same coverage and because I had Onstar it dropped down to 64.04 I would try another agent

I savve money with OnStar by not having to buy a gps for a rental car. I only rent vehicles with OnStar. Plus they are very hhelpful when away frm home when asking for directions or local hot spots.

Can the State Farm people see things like how slow or fast the car is driven, what hours its driven, where the car is driven, etc. and then base the discount on if the driver is a “good driver” with “good driving habits”?
