I have been an OnStar memeber since 01/01/08 as I bought my Chevy HHR on 12/31/07. I love having OnStar!!
Been with OnStar just under 1 year
I have been an OnStar Subscriber myself for 9 months, but my parents have been for almost 5 years.
I know that when we hit a deer, OnStar helped us every step of the way, getting the police, letting us know what town we were in, getting a tow truck and connecting us to our insurance company. I will always keep OnStar.
Seven months!
Wouldn’t be without Onstar. Great product.

I have had onstar for 2 years now .. love it.
We have had OnStar for over a year. We love the turn-by-turn Navigation, the hands-free calling and the Vecicle diagnostics. We feel a lot safer knowing OnStar is there for us in case of an emergency and they know our location even when we don’t. Thanks OnStar

Actually — was really glad that OnStar partnered with Verizon because I already had a Verizon phone and adding the OnStar phone line was a perfect hands-free talking solution when driving. I was sorely disappointed when, without warning, Verizon dropped my OnStar line. Although I still have that phone number, it ‘belongs’ to my OnStar account but I can’t afford to use it. Sad. So, now, my OnStar device is primarly a very expensive back-up emergency road service device. My auto insurance already has me covered for emergency road service so for $19 per month, I’ve got “peace of mind” in the event of an emergency where I cannot use my cell phone to call for help. I’ve struggled with the idea of canceling altogether because I just don’t know if it is worth it any more. It was when it was combined with my Verizon phone account, but now I’m not so sure.
Been w/ OnStar since “07 and love it…I have used the Emergency service to report cattle ion the highway…and have used the towing /help twice. I feel good knowing I’m connected.
Oh, and the Hands Free calling is great.
Not an OnStar subscriber but was one of the first to work in the call center as soon as I graduated from college in 1997 on a Friday and I started working at the call center that next Monday! Loved that job – still one of my tops! Way to go OnStar! You’ve come a long way!!!!
I have been with OnStar since 2005 with my 2005 Chevy Uplander… Living in Phoenix, having OnStar gives me a sense of security just knowing they are always there at the push of a button if I need them. Batteries die quickly from the heat here and OnStar sent a tow within an hour to take me to get a new battery in my van. This is just one example of the great assistance I have received over the past 7 years!
I’ve had my CTS with OnStar since FEburary and had a 90 day trial, which I renewed for 3 years. Since renewing, I’ver done an 8 day, 9 state, 3200 mile road trip where OnStar and I talked several times a day about routes, places to stay and where to sleep. I also went on a 4 day weekend to the motorcycle races and OnStar continually impressed my traveling campanion with the ease of getting infomation needed quickly and how to get there.
We love the safe feeling of having OnStar at our finger tips.
A day late and a swag short……that’s me…..also I should have put my Caddy up and not my Tbird…anyway the Tbird is gone and I still got the Caddy….happy B’day ONStar…..U R really OLD now! Great Service….
